I was completely invested in the love saga of Andie and Chris, and I loved how you effortlessly switched from past to present. This added another layer of dimension. Moreover, my interest never wavered throughout the book - as if my life depended on it, I HAD to find out if Andie and Chris ended up together. And the ending was everything (and more) than I expected!

I am not a contemporary romance girl but my god did I love this book.
The idyllic Sydney setting, strong friendships and anxieties over life and love really sucked me into Andi’s story. The dual timeline served to give context to different present moments which only added to the heartbreak and slow burn nature of story. There were moments where I almost cried, moments where I wanted to scream in frustration at the almost and what could have been and I just loved it. I cannot hype this book enough

This book made me laugh and cry, scream and shout, but most of all, it simply turned me to mush!
Chris is the most wonderful man who adores Andie in secret, the pair of them somehow falling into a friendship rather than anything more. But oh they want more, more than Andie would care to admit. Andie frustrated me so many times, to the point where I was screaming at my kindle in annoyance! And Chris was always so patient and kind, never questioning her reasons for anything. But once those reasons came out, I then understood the why. Moving seamlessly between their past and their present, this slow burning romance was a wonderful blend of love, friendship, laughter, and of course, cocktails! Brilliantly written and I felt like I was in Australia right along with them. I can't wait for more books from this author!

I loved every second and smiled all the way to the end, especially knowing so many of the Sydney destinations mentioned. You’ll turn pages as fast as you can just to see where all the pieces of the puzzle land.
